Description

Geum 'Fiery Tempest' from the Tempest Series is a floriferous avens with large, semi-double flowers. The flowers are bright scarlet to rich red, sometimes with dark orange tones, accented by striking yellow stamens.

The cultivar forms a compact clump and flowers over a long period. After the main flowering period it can bloom again into early autumn.

The flowers are frequently visited by insects. At the same time, 'Fiery Tempest' is usually considerably less susceptible to slug damage than many other classic perennials.
