Description

Phlomoides tuberosa 'Prima Donna' is a striking perennial with sturdy, purple-tinged stems and tiered whorls of flowers. The flowers are lavender-pink to violet-pink, giving a distinctly cooler colour effect than pure pink.

Its upright, architectural growth makes this cultivar especially interesting for prairie and perennial plantings. The dried seed heads also provide strong structural interest in autumn and winter.
